Title: Leo Vince SBK pipe swap
Post by: solman on May 25, 2008, 01:13:15 AM
I got my Leo Vince titanium pipe yesterday and took it out for a run today.  I like it!   I was running a Holeshot high mount recently.  I now have ridden the bandit with the following setups:

Bone stock - Nice smooth torque and quiet

Holeshot 14" low mount/no jet kit - Definitely louder and has a distinct throaty sound.  It also gives a bit more power on the top end

Holeshot 14" high mount w/jet kit - Quicker throttle reponse and about 11hp/4 ft lbs of torque increase with a drop of about 7 lbs weight.

Viper  pipe bolt on - Nice pipe and inexpensive - more mid range and gives it an almost stock look, but free flowing.

Leo Vince SBK titanium w/ jet kit- Nice sound and a bit deeper than my Hole shot.  It always feels like I got more torque than with my Hole shot.  With stock gearing, my front end comes up a bit easier and did it to me twice today.  It also looks better with the stock header as well.  You don't have the two color changes.  In the past, I wouldn't have considered Leo Vince, but since I got such a good deal on Ebay, I went for it.  I must say that I am thouroughly impressed with the finish, looks, and power with the slip on.  I will be taking pics of it tomorrow and posting them.

This isn't the best pic, but this will do as a temporary shot.  I took it out for an all day ride and was quite impressed with it.

Lookin' real good there, solman!  My buddy has a Leo on his Daytona.  It's obviously a triple but it sounds real nice.   :bigok:
