Mixture Adjustment
« on: April 02, 2006, 03:21:07 PM »
I'm wondering what kind of tool I need to buy today at Home depot to adjust the pilot mixture screws.

I have a 200 Bandit 1200S.  It has a Jet stage 2 kit, K&N PODS and a Yoshi Exhaust.

the idle likes to fluctuate, and Im getting crap gas milage, I'm hoping this will solve it, since I just got a valve adjustment, carb sync and new plugs.

A short straight slot screwdriver, or a 90* one that ratchets, if you wanna get real fancy.

Or you can just take a bit out of an existing screwdriver kit that's what I use. Not fancy but it works. If someeone did the work for you, take it back they were supposed to check that stuff when they did the other work.
2005 Bandit 1200, Modified Holeshot Stage 1 with 17.5 pilots 2.75 turns out, and 110 mains 5 shims. Muzzy Slip on w/mid-pipe, stock filter. 1.5" hole in the airbox lid.
