This probably isn't the place for this video, but I ran across it and just had to share. Check it out.

That's just freakin' insane.

Trying to imagine me doing that ...

Nope, can't.

That is amazing. I can't be certain, but something about the point where the rider is going over the handlebars then transitions back looks unatural. See what you think? It's like he is headed over the bars, then the image almost appears to rewind? Could just be the film and download. If that was real, it really was incredible.

I think his upper arm/shoulder hits the windscreen. It's clear which makes it look unnatural - like there's nothing there to throw him back.

Im pretty sure this is real...I remember seeing something about it on TV awhile back...and then I seen it on the internet many times. I think this actually happened during a race.
-
Yep It did happen. I saw it on "thrills -n- spills on ESPN a few years ago. They descirbed it the same way... most incredible saves....
Some days it's better to be lucky than good..

The guy is probably on "skid row" by now.

That was shocking
I'm kinda surprised that he didn't break a leg when he did that double foot plant while the bike was moving. That dude is pure hardcore.
-
I guess there's a good reason why there's the number "1" on his bike, eh? :beers:
-
Sure he saved his bike, but I wonder if he save the cleanliness of his shorts!
