A KILBURN motorcyclist is at the end of his tether after his prize classic bike was stolen for the fourth time in a month.

Roland Grimm's rare Honda ST70 has again been snatched by joyriders from outside his home in Hilltop Road. The bike had been stolen three times before but was returned each time following a poster campaign offering a reward for its recovery.

Mr Grimm said the bike dates back to 1972 and could fetch up to £1,000.

He said: "The kids love the bike and are very upset. The police caught one of the thieves red-handed, but didn't prosecute.




Uh....how about a chain and lock, or a very large dog? :duh:

I'm a big believer in, "If something doesn't work, stop doing it and find a better way"

If the bike keeps getting stolen from in front of your house, I think thats a pretty good indication that where you are parking it isn't working and it's time to find someplace else to park it. Like in the garage, in the back yard, or if all else fails, in the house!

no kidding! i love my bike, i keep the cover and the bars locked in a locked garage,if this fella ain't smart nuff to keep his bike maybe he shouldn't ride????

i would happily stop seeking any type of prossecution in exchange for a little quality time with the perp in a locked soundproof room .got em red handed and let em go ?

Yer the police are good here, you can kill some one and get off, do 77mph in a 70 zone and you get £60 fine and 3 points, get 12 and you get a ban from riding or driving. You got to love the Crown prossecution service. :monkeymoon:
