Our beloved big bandit got motorcycle of the year(bang for the buck) from motorcyclist magazine :bigok:  :bigok:  :clap:  :clap:

One paragraph on page 71, if you're browsing in a shop.
They picked the Ducati Hypermotard and Triumph Street Triple as Nakeds of the year, and the KTM Super Duke as MOTY.

The Duke should've received Fugliest of the year.  But, it's all subjective.

The 07 Bandit got an Honorable Mention from Cycle World. They didn't really have a bike of the year class that the Bandit fit in.
