Nothing like good suspension, and all those little touches here and there to truly make the bike your own.  Nice bike!

Total for everything is around $1,430.00. (Good question. I had to go pull receipts.)
Here is how I looked at the total expense for the bike:
Bought the bike new for $6,500.00 from local Suzuki dealer. With the above mentioned modifications, I have $7,930.00 invested on a bike that meets my needs for a sport touring machine, that leans a little more to the sport side of the equation.
Yamaha FZ1 is $9,099.00 MSRP. Probably could get it for $8,400.00.
BMW K1200S is ~$15,000.00
Wouldn't own a Kawasaki, and Honda doesn't have anything in America that fits the bill. Buell? Too stubby. Other Euporean bikes? Expensive to support.
So, the point is, it was value proposition, as well as an emotional and functional decision.

I'm good for now, except for better brake pads. Need to get rid of the cardboard stock pads.

Wow - looks good!!

I like your thought process...great bang for the buck.

One questions, $1400 for your upgrades sounds great. How much did you pay for your Ohlins Shock? Costs here from a dealer would eat up the whole budget.

I shopped around and paid $525.00 at a local shop. The guy cut me a deal.
Here's one I found on the web for $576.00

I'm sure if you hunt around, you can do better.

Are you sure you use this thing for a Sport Tourer? It looks way to shiney to me!

Nice bike.
