Did everyone ride to work today?

http://www.ridetowork.org/

I sent out an e-mail to all the people that have motorcycles where I work and it looks as though everone rode today.

I ride to work every day, but I just wasn't up for suiting up today with the thunder and lightning and pouring rain this morning. I'm usually the only bike in the lot at work and I work for a big company. I don't know what's wrong with these people. The guy that works next to me has a Harley, but says he lives too far away (30 miles) to commute by bike!! Must be an NJ thing.

Yup, I rode.  Today's high was only 90F, with a dry 63% humidity.  I'll take the 113F in exchange, thank you!

I did see about 3 times as many bikes on my commute today.

Last year's RTW Day was 103F and yup, I rode.

Nope it was raining here. But I try to ride to work once a week -- my studio is only two blocks away, so riding is actually more of a pain then walking.

I've been averaging riding 4x/ week since getting the new bike (53 miles each way).  Chance of severe storms and the ton of crap on the road from last night's severe storms kept the Kawi in the garage today.  We actually have a good number of riders.  For a company of 200 or so, we usually have 4 or 5 bikes in the lot - mine, a new Daytona, that new Duc cafe racer, some big HD and a Vespa.

You didn't know you rode?  Stay off the chronic, son, it'll eat up your brain.

           "Are you on the pot?"

I loaned my car out to a friend a week back cause she was having problems with hers, and the one day she picks me up was the ride to work day. Go figure. Would've rode in but pinched a nerve in my back on Monday. Still hobbling around as it is. Managed to ride today with no problem. Getting off the bike....now that's a whole different story.

yeah, it was the weirdest thing... I woke up and I was sitting at my desk working. I didn't know what was going on, but my helmet was on my desk and most of my work was done. My boss even stopped by and complimented me on the great job I had been doing all day. I looked at the clock and it was almost time to go home.

 :duh:

I ride to work everyday that it is not raining hard. So deducting the days it rains hard, I get to ride to work 362 days a year.

Works for me, especially since all my bikes have that really good 360 air conditioning system.....
