Well folks Ive done it again, just like walking though the pound, where there is always one dog with them puppy dog eyes, that no matter how hard you try to say no too. We found another wreck, repairable write off, and after doing the math, on parts and my labour time, we went ahead and parted with our hard earned bucks. But on the down side, it makes me a traitor. But one really good point, it aint a bloody Hon Hooon ,arh bugger it, one of those shyte buckets. What I have got is a 2001 Kawasaki ZRX1100 Eddie Lawson replica. Low K's has been very well looked after, and has some pretty good gear on it. Cost 2 gorilla's and with the parts required to repair it, plus paint, engineering certificate for VIV test and rego, should see change out of 2 more gorrilla's, just. Book listed value of over 8 gorilla's. So with it as a trade-in I will be able to redeem myself around christmas time and get the brand new B12.
See if every bit of bad news comes some good news.
Ok guys hiding in the corner, let me have it. I got broad shoulders.

The Rex is a sweet ride, do condemnation from me. Just no centerstand.

Sounds like a sweet deal. You may end up liking it enough to keep it.

I need help with terminology. 2 gorillas? 2 grand? Hon Hoon? Honda?

Now here is the larger question, the dog's goolies? I told my wife that I thought that she was the dog's goolies, neither her nor the dor seemed pleased.

Steve

Congrats on the bike, the Lawson reps are nice looking Kawi's!

That's great Pete! Now I can gen up on the "other" english language. Maybe I'll try telling my wife that she is "scrummy". I have a feeling that this will result in a reply closer to "on your bike" before it will lead to me being "on the job" though.

Good one!  Those E.L. reps are pretty cool, almost like the next best thing to a Bandit?
And if you do go ahead and trade on a B12........COOOOL!!!
That's impressive,
and I'm not easily impressed.
