the kid did it.  Rossie went down.  I loved the start when Nicky blew by Rossie and grazed him with his shoulder.

It sure would have been sweeter to watch Rossi in the mix throughout the race, but 'that's racing' as they say.  It's also too bad that Bayliss' win will be overshadowed by all the other events of the day.

But definitely CONGRATS to Nicky!

On to the silly season...

yeah, or you could say that Rossi choked and Nicky was total Lights Out.  It wasn't bad luck that put Rossi down, it was Rossi.  Nick went by and gave him a little shove with the shoulder, it ain't bean bag, man.

Hey Rossi lost it. Pure and simple.  He might bounce back, but he's definitely lost his swagger.  The first time he's lost it in 5 years.  With an 8 pt lead all he had to do was finish within 3 spots of Nick.

Nicky hung tough.  He said taking Rossi's crown was big like beating Chris Carr in Peoria (or maybe Mladin superbike crown?).  You gotta say the guy has met every challenge in the world and conquered.
