Bandit with a different fairing
« on: December 08, 2005, 09:30:32 PM »
Has anyone seen this bike before?  I really like the look of it with that fairing on.  If Suzuki would've came out with a Bandit with a fairing that, I probably would've considered getting that version.

Also here is the page that has more pics of this bike.

Looks like the top half of a 2000 GSXR 600/750 fairing:

Well, I dug on in his site, and it's a gsxr 1k front, even has the intake duct work run through the frame, don't know if they are functional or not. I'm not sure he ever finished though, as there are zip-ties holding the rear of the fairing to the ductwork.

I might have to do some research on this as I want something that deflects the wind a little better to my sides. I love my bandit, but the pre 2k models fairing could have been a little sportier :stickpoke:

He said PRE 2K... the JMV fairing sold by Eurobikes is for the 2G bikes.

I think it looks great!!  Probaly would solve the mediocre lighting issue of my 05 .     Adding  the 06 mirrors with the integrated turn signals and youve got one killer mod there.   Very nice!!
