Took the B12 for a ride
« on: March 06, 2005, 09:43:03 PM »
   Since I bought my KLR 650, the Bandit has had a lot more resting time, but I took it for a ride today.  What a machine!  As smooth as Exlax and a whole lot faster.  I think about selling it once in a while, but an old man needs an adrenaline rush occasionally.  I'm trying to get the chicken strips erased so when I meet Meatman Landry for a run up the Crowley Historical Highway next month, he won't be embarassed to  ride with me.  I've got the right one down to a quarter inch and the left one down to an eighth of an inch.  She's a great machine.

I raised my forks by 3/4" and by doing that I am able to lean much further over.  Hence, no strips!

Man, it got up to 70 degrees today.  Windy, but warm.  Had to get out there on the Bandit.  Had a good run around the backroads in the area, but there were a lot of cages to contend with.

I wish I had more time, and I would have taken a run up the Dragon.

I'm ready for spring, Boys.

I had to work today, and it's a beautiful day here in the PNW, so I left five hours early and took the REALLY long way to work. It's normally ~50 miles to work, but today it took me ~220 miles to get there. Got to the parking lot just in time.
