Just a quick update.

Weather today was gorgeous, so my wife and I hopped on the Bandit for an evening of some riding. We rode along the Missouri river, which is a biker haven this time of year. After all was said and done, we put on about 100 miles and had a great time. We went to a cyclers destination about 35 miles south of Bismarck right along the shore of the river. We ate a good meal and had a beer. Did some more riding then headed for home. Wonderful time. The one down side of the ride was at one place we stopped to stretch our legs and take in the scenery. My wife dropped my brand new AC 11 Helmet on the ground, and chipped off a piece of the finish layer about the size of a quarter. I saved the piece and will try to glue it back in place. It's just the finish layer, and the fall wasn't severe, so I don't believe there is any structural damage. I have an old hemet I wear when we ride together, and let her wear the the new HJC. The old helmet is junk, so I was going to order another HJC AC 11 for her. Originally she said she would wear the old helmet so we wouldn't have to buy another one. That is until she wore the HJC, then she wanted one too. Long story short, since she dropped the helmet, she gets that one, and I get to order another one for myself. (her idea, not mine) It's all good.

I also have an AC-11 that I was wearing earlier this week when I had the run in with the deer. The helmet never touched the ground except for when I had it slip outta my hand while i was trying to get my shit back together once i figured out that I was ok. I'm gonna touch mine up and forget about it.

I chipped my AC-11 too.  Accidntally idnged it against a dumpster walking away from the parking lot.  I was kind of bummed about that, and started to question the quality....oh well, at least it didn't fall to bits in my hand
