Wich shop manual is considered to be the best? :?: I need one for future work on the ole girl.

I prefer to use factory manuals so that's what I bought for my bike. I haven't really studied the Clymer or Haynes versions for the B12, so I can't say if they're good or not, but my past experience with both in cars I've owned can be a little disappointing in some areas, especially if you're the type who does everything from oil changes to full overhauls.

I have both the Clymer's and factory manuals for my 2003 Bandit 1200.
I prefer the factory manual as it contains more information in certain areas. For instance the Clymer's manual doesn't correctly explain how to adjust the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) and that's critical for best running and gas mileage in my experience.
The electrical section is also lacking in the Clymer version.
Just my two bits worth.

I have the OEM, the Clymer, and the Haynes, and I would recommend them in that order.

Thanks y'all, that's what I wanted to know. I didn't know if one was better than the others or if they all had different strenghts of their own. I guess I'll go with the factory manual. Again...Thanks

Keep an eye on eBay for that manual. I just picked up a new OEM manual for $17.00 delivered.

I've found the Suzuki manual on CD on ebay for even less.
Here's one for $8 plus $3 shipping (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BANDIT-Service-Manual-GSF1200-1996-2003_W0QQitemZ8036334044QQcategoryZ38663QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)
