Title: So Long, Farewell

Today my '05 1200/S left me for good, replaced by a newer, dirtier ride that will go where no Bandit has gone before. Long distance rides on the big B12 were curtailed last year by the addition to the stable of a true long distance steed, the ST1300. I still enjoyed riding the big girl for shorter trips, 200 miles or less and all was well until we picked up a new place in the mountains. All those fire roads and forest access roads just kept calling to me, so today I answered.

I'll miss the big bandit, they really are terrific rides and only those who haven't had one speak ill of them, betraying their ignorance.

Poor's one out for the '05. :(

I'm jealous, I really want a dual purpose bike, DRZ400 is calling my name. Of course I'm keeping the Bandit but MAN, sometimes you just wanna switch it up and there are SO many places here in AZ to ride.
