Did you see Superbikes TV show last night on Speedchannel?
They interviewed the owner of Streetfighters Inc., the builder of some of the worlds finest naked bikes.
Nice Bandit, with GSXR front end, Interceptor single sided swingarm and mods too numerous to mention. Handbuilt bodywork.
I thought it was the best episode ever!
Wow, georgeous bikes!

Yep, I saw that episode a few weeks ago. Tose guys put together some nice bikes. But beyond the skins, everything they put on a bike is just like all the pics in the Streetfighter Magazine from the UK. They must have a direct line to a shop there, to get some of those parts so readily.
Either way, the single side swinging arm is crazy nice.
I saw one in a mag recently with an Augusta MV rear bodywork, and swing arm.

Streetfighters U.S.A. may build some nice bikes, but they SUCK! at customer service when it comes to buying things from their internet site. Streetfighters is a cuss word on my mouth now. :gatlin

Been there, done that. I wouldn't give them my biz again.

I saw it last night. I'm glad to see some versatility in the US motorcycle market.
However I did'nt like the remark that the "Blast Squad " dude said (in the second episode Atlanta). He stated "If you can't keep 180 for 30 miles, then you can't roll with us." This is the stupidity that gives all motorcyclists a bad rep.
He has no lrespect for the true sport motorcycling. He just want to ride fast. Motorcyling is more than riding fast.I also noticed that the Blast Squad/Atlanta scene had more run in with the law also. :suzmoto: :cop:

I used to plan my day around Speed Channel every Tuesday. Ever since Fox took it over it's continually gone down hill every year. They actually brought back more motorcycling racing this year, but their other motorcycle programming blows. I can't believe they cancelled "Greg's Garage" (which they had already stripped of any real content) to bring in crap like "Superbikes". If they wanted to add it to bring in versitility, that's fine, but don't take off shows aimed towards mature, responsible adults to make room for it. It show cases adults who act like irresponsible adolesant gang bangers with their bullshit "I'm a tough guy" attitudes. This Rossi Moreales guy (I think that's his name) they found to co-host the show is a complete moron who doesn't know a thing about motorcycles. The other guy, who's name escapes me right now, is actually a good host who knows motorcycles and follows racing. He's an accomplished stunter, but doesn't appear to be much of a corner carver though. I'll still watch the show if I'm not doing anything else, but I no longer make it a point to watch Speed on Tuesday evenings.
End of rant......for now.

I still liked the original version of Greg's Garage myself. Had clips of and results of racing. Some tech info, different events. Then it started going down hill. I'd watch it waiting for something good and end up disappointed. Now Tues has nothing for me to sit in front of the tube for.

I always thought that the the only thing that matters is how quick you can go 0 to 1,320ft not 00 to 60 either way your still not top speed
