Well, another Aussie on another Suzuki has taken out another championship.
Well done Troy Corser and the Alstar Suzuki team. Not the way Troy wanted to win with the second race at Imola being cancelled due to a flooded track. But, unless he had the worst luck in the world and failed to finish the last three races, he was going to win anyway.
GO SUZUKI - GO TROY CORSER

A tip of the hat to Aussie Mat Mladin for taking the US Superbike title, too.
Ask former WSB Champ Neil Hodgsen how tough the US series is in comparison to WSB.

I don't want to start a war with the Poms, but the only reason the Neil won the WSBK was the Troy Bayliss (Aussie) went to Motogp, Troy Corser (Aussie) wasn't riding at all because that other Pommies bike wasn't ready, Chris Vermulan (Aussie) was still in Supersport, and Colin Edwards (half Aussie) went to Motogp the Troy Bayliss.

RE: How good is he.
Gee, I must be a very gifted person to make the call so early in the year. :monkeymoon: :monkeymoon: :monkeymoon:

What an anti climax though! Race 2 cancelled, all front row just waving their arms and dismounting their bikes. Then "I guess Corser has won."

Thought y'all would appreciate a pic of Troy at UK's B'ham bike show:
