Teen faces arrest for injuring motorcyclist with hose across road
FUKUOKA -- Police have decided to arrest a 14-year-old boy who strung a rubber hose across a road, causing a motorcyclist who rode into it to crash and suffer injuries, law enforcers said.

The boy, whose name has been withheld because he is a minor, faces arrest for inflicting injuries on the 30-year-old victim and for obstructing traffic.

Two other 13-year-old youths who cooperated in the incident have been questioned and subjected to police guidance.

Investigators said the three teens tied a rubber hose to the guardrails on a road in Fukuoka's Higashi-ku at about 1 a.m. on May 24 to block the road off. A motorcyclist rode into it and crashed, suffering injuries requiring about three weeks' treatment.

Police said the hose appeared to have got caught up in the handlebars of the motorcycle. (Mainichi)

That guy is some kind of lucky that hose didn't catch him in the throat!  Those kids need some serious punishment.  It's really attempted murder, in my book.

Well, I guess the cops didn't need ALL of the rubber hose for evidence.
I'm guessing somebody could figure out some use for the rest of the rubber hose.
  (Rubber Hose, cops....criminals.....get it?)

They could probably get the kids to confess  planning the attack on Pearl Harbor......
