Short video
« on: August 30, 2011, 02:12:36 PM »
Recently went on a little m/c trip with Pauly (my son), Bobcat & PMackie thru WA, ID, MT & OR.  Here's a little clip of some of the fun we enjoyed. (Sadly, PMackie had to head back to Canadia before we hit OR.)

Eastern Oregon, Antelope to Shaniko

Camera mouted on Bobcat's new ZX-14.

Hope to have some more available soon.

Great little video of a great road!!!   :beers:

Even though I missed it with you 3, I have done it twice this year already, once in each direction.

Overall, I think it is my favourite road in Oregon!!

beauty of a road.  how long is road like that? looks like good pavement also.  MIchigan takes all the curves out and puts intersections and stop signs there.

guess you dont have to pay a track school to learn how to ride.   looks like a great time.  sandy
Fast? yes I'm fast, like a tortoise

The video was taken between Antelope, OR and Shaniko, OR - a distance of 7.9 miles.  Part of that (I'm guessing ~1/2) is on top of a plateau and pretty straight.  This video was the one of several shot on my son's video camera.  He uploaded this one first because of the time it has been taking to convert his recordings to something compatible with YouTube as well as fit their time limits since this one is pretty short.  Even better than this section was the section between Fossil, OR & Antelope - ~25.5 miles.  (Do a Yahoo or Google Maps seach of these towns - be sure terrain shows - and you can see what I'm talking about).
There were plenty of others like these every day of our trip! I hope he gets some more videos up to share soon.

OK, got another one to share.  This one's a bit longer, at 18 and a half minutes.  This one was shot from my son's B12.  No music, other than the song of his B12 singing thru a Yosh full system.  Sorry, the focus isn't as sharp on this one.  Seems the camera was focusing on the dirty windscreen more than the the bigger picture.

This is Idaho Route 21 between Idhao City and Lowman.

Which one?

I think all the riders in that second one are raving lunatics!  Did you see the passing on double yellows?  :yikes: :duh:
