Just think, it could have been worse...........

the stripper could've been a female impersonator.....

[edited by Pitter to remove a pic of a topless "person" with enormous fake boobs and... well...  a rather large "package".   For an explanation of why it was removed, please see Pete's recent posting on everyone being "clad" in the regular forums.]

as far as the responses you guys are really entertaining me more than schooling me.

I think a large percentage of riders - especially if they rode during those formidable twenty-nothing years would confess to mixing alcohol and riding.  Many of those probably rode while legally (or illegally) intoxicated.  It would be tantamount to hypocrisy to drag you down and beat you up for the very same thing.  I think the real question here is was this a "light bulb event"?  Was the switch flicked on in your head this IS A BAD IDEA?  I had an "event" many years ago that turned that light on.  Nothing bad happened - no wreck, no injuries... frankly, I would (still am) be too embarrassed to describe it BUT it was the event that taught me drinking and riding DO NOT MIX!!!  Not even just one (and I do like my beer) while riding - it's tough when everyone else is having a cold one and you only live a few miles away - what's the harm?  That little extra shot of courage... that extra twist in the wrist... a little more lean... a distraction... a stupid cager....  it can happen real fast and you're gonna need all the sharpness you can muster.

While the light doesn't ever come on for some and it comes on too late for others, there is a greater likelihood of the following things to occur.

1. You wreck/damage your bike.
2. You wreck/damage your body.
3. You wreck/damage someone else's property.
4. You wreck/damage/kill someone else.

Reading your post hints that 1 & 2 have already occurred.  If alcohol played any part in that the light needs to start coming on and soon.  Numbers 3 & 4 are bound to follow.

Carrying a passenger involves a HUGE responsibility - you open the door for a lot of legal, financial, emotional and financial hassles.  To carry a passenger while consuming alcohol puts you on a very slippery road to a light bulb event.  As a fellow Bandit rider I am not typing this to judge or sway your thinking.  We accept (or should accept) personal responsibility for our actions when we swing a leg over the bike.  All I ask is that we all look for that light switch and ride safely.  (ironically   :beers: )

I think you’ve been lectured to enough about the evils of drinking and driving/riding. So I’ll get to the real root of the subject which seems to have eluded some of the responders.
Why do you ride is the question.
1. Some ride for the feeling of excitement.
2. Some ride for the feeling of freedom.
3. Some ride for the feeling of breasts pushing into their back.
It would appear that you and I think alike #3 !!!

thanks everyone, I was more teasing you all for enjoying my friend more than begging for more beating up.  I haven't taken a real fall yet. I've only been riding for 3 years.  All my +passenger experience has all been local empty streets, no hard turns,  & low speeds.  Always rushed and unexpected, "ohh you have a bike, can you take me for a ride" or a friend got abandoned or someone else was too drunk to get home.

I should have a script for passenger prep though.  Something I can memorize easily to make sure thier head is in the right place on a turn and thier feet are in the right place when we stop.  I try to hide my bike from view most of the time so people won't ask for a ride, but it always comes out anyway.

sidenote
I know about the trannys.  They are hard to tell, but I know by geography in most major cities which women to avoid.

Well at least you admitted you may have had too much to drink so chances are there won't be a next time so you're learning.

But what I really must protest the absence of any pics of that stripper!!! Does she have a promo pic on a web site somewhere?

I do apologise if my previous post offended anyone.  And that pic actually came from an American mate of mine - not an aussie.

Speaking of "trannys" have any of you been to New Orleans pre Katrina?
My cousin and her husband came down from Indiana a few months ago for a visit and wanted to see Bourbon Street while they were here. So we loaded up the mini-van and drove on down. We park by Jackson Brewery and started walking towards the heart of the French Quarter when I start noticing several rainbow flags "hhhmmm"I say to myself. I know what the rainbow symbol usually represents but I couldn't figure out why they would be flying in the Quater itself. Turns out it was the week of the Decadence Festival, wich is basically a gay pride celebration. I had never seen so many "Village People" look a likes in my entire life. Several thousand "Alternitive Life stylers" including "trannys". I'm here to tell ya...sometimes you just can't be sure of what you are looking at if you didn't know what was going on you night even be tempted to make a pass at a few of em. NO! I didn't I'm a happily married man. But, were I single and unaware....scary thought that is.
