A pal came and watched me @ Nelson Ledges Mon.He's been a friend and knew my parents since I was a youngster. Likes to come to the track and offered up his Honda 500 Intercepter for next yr. ( He has about a dozen bikes)Awsome! Looks like I have some saftey wiring to do. I'll have to check and see if there is a Intercepter site for info. And get some good rubber for it. Dan

That was my first bike. An 86 model. Awesome bike for racing. torquey and horsepower (best of both worlds) V-four produces 66 horsepower in stock form. Good handling. Very durable. I drove mine for over 2 years all four seasons (25,000 miles) and only replaced a thermostatic switch which turned on the fan to cool the engine ($70.00 fix) outside of routine care.
:beers:
I had the 1986 Honda Intercepter 500. 2 years of riding and I still could'nt kill the d**n thing.
