Student may have found culprits of scooter attack online

An online confession of sorts may have helped crack the case of a damaged motor scooter.
After finding his yellow scooter marred by scratches and wire damage last week, University of Georgia student Stuart Bern discovered an online group whose name bragged of the kicking.
The group, on the Web site facebook.com, was called "I Kicked/Pushed over the Yellow Moped at Towne Club" and boasted 10 members, including Bern's former roommate.
Bern wrote a letter to each of the club members and requested they pay for the repairs, which will cost more than $200. Bern has threatened to press charges if the students don't pay up by Sunday
