Show and shines
I the past few months I have become more interested vintage bikes and started to visit a few show and shines.
This has, naturally, culminated in my purchase of vintage bike of my own. No pictures until it has been polished and shined. Still I have collected a number of pictures of some very nice vintage machines. I thought I would share my photos, never known they might spark an interest in other out there.
I’ll start with this really sweet Ducati

A set of nice Hondas

And this really nice Café racer. Nice look for a Honda

Then a couple of sidecar rigs, one Harley 45 and a Motto Gusie

And a bit of a soft focus shot of a BMW

These are fun events and if they were a bit closer I would be taking my new ride.
Unfortunately it will only go 80 Kph, and I have a 100 stretch between me and the A & W.

Nice shots Tony!! :beers:
What did you buy yourself? I have some interest as well, but it will have to wait for retirement, then I would like to do a restoration...I always wanted a Bultaco Metralla - say similar to this one:

And here comes the my little girl on my 1984 Honda Passport. (the V-rod is hers by the way)

She considered it a bit of a step down from the Harley. We humor her.

The RD350 in the background doesn't look too bad either... kinda partial to those, having owned one in my youth. :thumb:

You could take notes from the RUB's on how they arrive at Sturgis.
Haul your bike to a location just short of the destination,
then ride victoriously into town.
