Watched a dude trying to be cool on his ninja 250 Slip the HELL outta the clutch, miss the 1-2 shift (wacking the crap outta the rev limiter)  all to get to the next light and almost dump it at 5mph trying to use the front brake going round the corner. I could hear the bike going "help me.. this guy sucks".

At least he's on a beginner bike and not a YZFGSXCBRZR1000R

I second that amen.. No fair being rough on the newbie, we all were newbies at one time or another.. At least he (seems to) know his limits. Hopefully next up is an MSF Basic course..

My first time on a Honda Rebel 250 ended up w/ me narrowly missing the family mailbox and planting the bike in the bushes across from the driveway!

I'll agree about being on a beginner bike but all of that just to get infront of a 3400 Lb SUV  slam on the binders and then damn near drop it at the next corner (with me still following him)????? He's one lucky rider that another rider was following him and realized that he was riding over his head and gave him EXTRA room over what I'd usually give a bike when driving the cage. Stupid riding is stupid riding no matter if you're on a YSR 50 or a busa. I think the gene pool still needs some chlorine. Of course if he keeps this up he won't have to worry bout it much longer.
Have I ever made similar mistakes... yes but I try to have more awareness about what i do and when I do it. jamming yourself infront of another vehicle on a 5 lane road in traffic Is stupid Don't care what your experience or which mount you have chosen, Dead is dead or even worse living to only to need full care.
Hopefully he will learn his lesson before he moves up or  crashes and gets taught the hard way. Otherwise we will be reading bout him as one of the obits.

Why I'm an advocate for learning how to ride on a dirt bike. Learn control where you're less likely to get run over. Learn how to regain control when things don't go quite as planned - or do them on purpose to learn how to correct it.
