Welcome... INTRODUCE YOURSELF HERE!!!
« on: March 02, 2005, 07:42:54 PM »
Please use this thread to 'introduce' yourself to the board!

A full biography isn't needed,  but a few details, and a location, helps other members get an idea of who, and where you are.

We have members scattered out all over the world, and you may be the only one in your little corner, or you may have more company than you think.

If you're looking for somebody to ride with, go ahead and say so.

We don't always give a formal welcome to new members....don't feel left out if we miss you...or wait for some acknowledgement to jump in and post a message.

(Note: this thread was re-started after a board crash.  The first batch of response are pretty much 'where've you been' stuff....)

  My stuff?

I'm Pete, the founder of this board, and responsible for all things I can't blame on the moderators.
  I have a '99 Bandit 1200, I bought new in '99.
I'm in the Augusta, GA area, but don't ride a lot, locally.
I mostly save my bikes for trips to the mountains........life's too short for boring roads!

GM -24???

I don't think the time zone thing is working.  I know it was screwed up when we first started v2.0.  I believe that I am GMT -5 here on the east coast which would make a left-coaster GMT -8.

Things are running better this morning - a bit slow last nite but that was better than none at all.  Looking forward to new topics and rehashing/posting of old ones.
