Sparta... isn't that near Springfield? We're about 100 miles east, maybe we could get together for a ride sometime in a month or so when I'm healed up.  :bigok:

What's up damn it. Been out of the loop for quite a few years. Rode in Germany for 3 years, moved back to the states and did a lot of Mt. Riding in New Mexico. It's been WAY too long, time has come for me to get back in the saddle. To be honest I'm a bit scared, since now I realize what it takes to handle these beasts, but screw it.

My first bike was an '89 ZX-10, not the fastest by todays standards, but I guarantee for a (near) 20 year old bike, it can still hold its' own. Anyways, saving up right now for a Bandit 1200. Have had my eye  on them for quite a few years, time is up. By the end of this Summer, I'll have mine. YO.

Welcome James! I'm on my second Bandit 1200 and they are just great bikes. The board is friendly and helpful at all levels, even with the dumbest of questions (which I often ask). Good luck on acquiring your Bandit.

Welcome James. Be sure to post a picture of your 1200 when you get it and in the mean time make yourself at home and post your thoughts.

Hi all,

I'm Dave from Baltimore, MD and I just bought a 600 Bandit out of a fellow board member's shed.  He still has his and insisted that I join the board here as part of the purchasing agreement, and of course once the bike is streetable again that I make a few trips with him.  I can't wait.  It's my first bike as well.

Hi all, I am Chris, i live in a suburb of Melbourne Australia called Lilydale. I have just purchased a 2005 B12 which is my first road bike, my other bike is a DRZ400E which is another great bike. I am a social (fairweather) rider, and love hitting the tracks on the DRz when it gets wet.

I'm Mike, just wanted to say thanks. I've owned a 1200S
for almost two days and the board has saved me about 100.00 US already. My wife thanks you also.

I'm 56 and have been around the block a couple of times,
including the war games in RVN.
