Nothing wrong with that!  How often do folks ask what it is?  Even with big silver "SUZUKI" on the sides of my tank and the "Bandit 1200S" decals on the fairing, some dill weeds still ask what it is.

"How often do folks ask what it is?" -Red01-

Actually, I'm not asked very often what it is, (I'm not sure why that is) I get the typical "nice bike", or "that looks fast" but not too many folks care to know what it is. Maybe I don't look approachable to people.  :gloom:

Bandit 1200 owner wannabe.  I currently ride an XT600 and have done trips to Argentina, Urguay and of course many short trips here in S. Brazil where I live.   I have been riding bikes since I was 13 and have owned about 17 bikes none larger than a 750 and most of them trail and dirt bikes.

Born and raised in Alabama.  A former Marine and currently a Baptist missionary.  I am planning a six month tour by motorcycle when I get back to the states to visit our supporting churches.  I am seriously considering the Bandit 1200S loaded with Givis as my tour bike.  I will stay with friends, relatives, church folk and in state parks.  It should be fun.  I will be buying a bike in May of 2009.  I hope to gather some useful information and make some new friends on this board.

God Bless and Merry Christmas everyone!

Hi All,

New to this site, looks like you have some good info over here.  I am having some issues with trying to post my user pix.  I will try and shrink it to 150 X 133 before uploading it to the other site.  Where you having issues with direct uploads of pix?  Anyway, this looks like a good site to visit.

Cheers,

Mark  :bandit:

Hi, I've been checking out this forum for a while, figurerd it was time to stop lurking and register. I'm friends with and race against Gary- " Garyola" on here. I have / race a 91 400. I'm in northern NY, 10 mins. from the Canadian border so I race in canada because the tracks are closer than anything in the states. I'm a Suzuki dealer so I may be able to help somebody out once in a while. Just started racing 2 yrs. ago, wife says it's my midlife crisis. Doing pretty well, no wins yet but some 2nds and 3rds, finished 2nd in points in the RACE series in Shannonville this yr. Also had a bad crash and busted my left shoulder all up.

Hi everyone!
I'm from Norway, and just bought a 90 GSF250 which is imported from Japan.  The information on this board, and in the WIKI-section have really been useful to me to get to know my baby-bandit a little better. Yesterday I finally found courage to register here.
As my B2.5 probably is the only one in Norway, I face a bit of problem in meeting the requirement for registration.  The Suzuki importer here refuses to help me locate the correct documentation, as the GSF250 never has been imported to Norway. So it's a bit of a challenge right now.  But I'll get there in the end.

Besides the baby-bandit, my garage contains a gsxr600 trackbike and a zx6rr trackbike.  My streetbike is a K6 gsxr750.

Looking forward to seeing you on this board
Sven
