Post by: Desolation Angel on May 06, 2006, 07:09:31 PM
What was the purpose of these cool little machines?  Learners?  Kids bikes?  Gas misers?

All of the above?

Dunno, looks like a beefed up moped. Might be a great little commuter

If it weren't for the turn signals and mirrors, I would've said racing.

i've had an NSR50 and it was like a brother or sister to the MB5 and MT5.
MT5 was a little more rough, you could go off-road with it
MB5 would seem to be a commuter's choice

my 2cents..

I remember those from back in my college days.  Those little bikes were (are) popular in Europe so they brought them here.  There were a ton on campus as they were more fun to ride then the mopeds.  They really had to be revved, a chain saw on wheels!
