I am curious to find out what other motorcycle forums banditalley members visit? I consider BanditAlley my home, but I like to walk around the block once in a while. Besides many of us own many bikes.
Here is a list of other sites I visit and a brief description. 1 being the most frequently visited (other than BA)
1. advrider.com --very fun site, for dual sport and long distance travelers
2. sohc4.us --great site for us honda cb owners, cafe racer wannabes like myself
3. gixxer.com --very young and immature crowd, but good info for trackdays and club racing
4. http://www.cb1100f.net --another PHPBB site that is good for later model honda 750f/900f and 1100fs
5. nesba.com --I don't go here often but NESBA has some decent forums
6. chicagolandsportbikes.com/ -- good one for Chicago region sportbike/track day info
I think this could be a cool thread if people post other forums they visit (motorcycle related), gives all of us more reading material during those slow times at work.
-
Yeah, I frequent ChicagolandSportbikes.com (I live in Chicagoland!) and Maxsuk as well.
-
http://www.intruderalert.com/cafe/index.cfm Cause i got one too..
-
Being a rex owner I do I must admit, I do head to the USA based ZRXOA, and the UK based ZRXOC, but still under the B6Mick name.
-
www.cb1100f.net for me... My other bike is a 82 CB900F.
-
In addition to Bandit Alley:
vwvortex
passat world
KTM Talk
ADVrides
Regal Owners forum
Homebrew forum
Thumper Talk
ClubB5
...and maybe one or two others.
I'm pretty sure I am B12Teuton on all of them. :bigok:
-
www.wnysportriders.org for me. Good group of local wack-jobs.
-
http://www.cycleforums.com
http://www.914club.com
http://www.audiworld.com
Those are the usuals, aside from this site, of course.
-
Georgia Riders (http://georgiariders.org), a non-brand specific site for Georgia area riders.
-
For anyone around the Montreal/Ottawa region here's a good one
www.m4e.com
They have weekly rally's in Montreal and organize several small and big trips.
Definitely worth a look. :beers:
-
The GSResources is where I am most of the time.
http://www.thegsresources.com/
There's also StromTrooper on rare occasion...
http://www.stromtrooper.com/
And the VX800 site on even rarer occasion...
http://www.mobile-designs.com/VX800/
I'm also a member on Saab Central, but that one is boring beyond belief. I rarely peek in there.
-
Most of my BBS time is obviously spent here. Other than that, the Philly forum on sportbikes.ws and the occasional trip over to NESBAs site is about it.
Manny - Passat World?? Now I'll bet THAT is an edgy crowd!
-
I also frequent www.gtamotorcycle.com a local motorcycle site for the Greater Toronto Area. Unfortunately the locals are mostly wankers and topics deteriorate quickly. It really makes me appreciate the great people on this site!

- T595.net (Triumph forum)
- VGmusic.com (computer game/music forum)
- Capcom-Europe (another computer game forum)
- Cerberes forum (computer game/general chat forum, I'm a moderator there)
Used to use 400greybike.co.uk, but I got banned for a completely inoffensive comment

One of the best local sites (if you consider the State of Texas local) is can be found here....
Two Wheel Texans (http://www.twtex.com/forums/?)
.... but B/A is the best!! :thanks:
-
Max-Zuk
TwoWheelForum.com-A pretty good site there as well. Pretty diverse and not alot of BS. Not many Banditos on there but I have seen a couple new ones lately. For a while I think I was the only one.
-
Just here and occaisonally the DR650 sister BBS
Other than that, I get updates from the Motogp and WSBK sites, and the Treasurer gets newsletters from the Ducati Owners Club.

I go to max zuki but I must say that place is moderated by an idiot. It's the type of place set up by a loser so he can have power over someone, somehow. This place is much much cooler.
-
I have owned two Moto Guzzi in the past, so I like to go over to www.mgnoc.com its a really good site if you like Guzzi. If money was no object or If I had a dealer any where close, I would have a Guzzi in the garage for a second bike. But, I am at home on Bandit Alley!
-
Honestly, this is the only MC board I read.
I do monitor Captain Comics http://www.captaincomics.us/ and the Memphis RiverKings http://riverkings.com/.
I also follow the ALIAS and LOST usenet newsgroups.
Hey, YOU asked!
-
I also jump onto Sport Touring dot Net and FZ1 Owner's Assoc. dot com
-
Being as how this is the only forum that I frequent.....does that mean I do or that I don't have a life?
No really this and thumpertalk are the only 2 and I haven't been on thumper talk for a quite some time.
-
Bandit Alley is probably the best MC forum on the net. The other one I visit a fair bit is http://www.usa2strokers.com/forum/default.asp for my '76 RD400  - Cool Bikes!
-
r1-forum.com
maximum-suzuki.com
3.8mustang.com
-
Once in a while I visit Max-Suz, but less and less all the time.
Mostly because of the PNW friends I ride with there.
I usually drop in at ST.N daily, but don't post over there as much as I used to.
I'm a member of Fast Larry's Bandit board, but that one is pretty slow, so if I drop in every month or so, I can keep up with it.
The only other board I visit with any regularity is JeepForum.com. (http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/index.php?)

I'm a member of the Honda Sport Touring Association ( HSTA ). All type bikes are welcome. The group age and riding style varies quite a bit, from fairly slow to really quick. There are scheduled events ( and non-events ) throughout the year at various fantastic locations. We meet on Friday at the designated motel, ride saturday and ride home sunday. This year the biggest event ( STAR 06 ) will be held in Avon Colorado. Go to www.ridehsta.com and find your local chaptor. Some of the websites are not as active as others. Some of the more active sites we talk on are the Arkansas Gap site www.ar-gap@yahoogroups.com. Also, the south carolina site sub site of NC / SC. Just hit the local site icon on the main home page, hit SC then scroll down to NC / SC. The arkansas group is more of a sport bike group, and the S.E. groups tend to be more on the sport touring side plus there is lots of interest in Dual Sports over hear. I'm not as familiar with the hsta groups further west than Arkansas. Check us out, it's pretty fun. Friday and Saturday nights there is plenty of tire kicking and story telling, plus good food. You get a package upon arrival with various route options etc... at each event. We split up into small groups so it's not one huge group ride. The average number that shows up is between 50 and 80 people per event, however, STAR has hundreds of riders show up.

I always check the mail from Fast Larry'sBanditsR US list when I get on line. I've been on that list for about 5or6 yrs. I'll also check in on the Fasttrax (Fastone.com) forum to see whats going on with the racers, where and when for dates on the track.

I spend a fair bit of time at
www.ozsportsbikes.com (http://url) (aussie site). There are always rides/trackdays/social events happening, they even have regular ladies only rides
And also www.wominx.net (http://url)

The GSResources is where I am most of the time.

I figured there would be a least one GSR guy here. That's where I am most of the time as well. And the FZ1OA occasionally.

Oh, and there's more GSR guys here, but they're very, very shy around all these big, bad@ss Bandits!

I hope they square it away soon. The GS Rides have been a lot of fun the past couple of years. Some of them ride the daylights out of their 20+ year old bikes! I don't why any GSers would be shy here, isn't my 97 B12 really a bored out GS1100E with a GS1000S fairing? It probably should have be called a GS1200F instead of a GSF1200S.
