Fatal motorcycle accident

CORPUS CHRISTI - A 23-year-old Corpus Christi man was killed in a motorcycle accident Saturday afternoon. It happened about 5:00 p.m. on Saratoga Boulevard, between Weber and Everhart.
According to witnesses the victim was weaving in and out of westbound traffic at a high rate of speed and was trying to pop a wheelie, when he slammed into a car that was turning onto Saratoga from Shea Parkway. According to investigating officers, the driver of the car never saw the motorcycle until it hit the car.
Witnesses are still being interviewed, but at this point, it doesn't appear any charges will be filed against the driver of the car.
