Title: White dial speedos & tachs
Post by: Desolation Angel on August 30, 2005, 02:01:03 PM: I just love instrument clusters done up in white face! Does anyone make these for a 1200S? I don't know if it would require a whole new set of gauges or just the dial faces swapped out.

OK, I was sitting on a Tiger the other day and the "cockpit" is simply gorgeous with all white dials everywhere! Honestly, the instrument cluster on the Bandit isn't all that pretty; even clusters from the old GS series big bikes often looked much better. :sad:

Post by: fake on August 30, 2005, 02:51:08 PM: Ya, that would be pretty sweet to have a white guage faces. I like the white face guages on my Hemi Ram. It's easier to read with white IMO.

Post by: Red01 on August 30, 2005, 07:08:03 PM: If you can get 10 or more people that want them, Street Racer Parts (http://www.streetracerparts.com/) will make you Illumiglo faces in standard (black face white numbers/blue at night) or reverse.

Someone here tried to put together an order a few years ago, but couldn't come up with 10 people who would pay. (IIRC, there were 7 takers)

Post by: Cruisecontrol on August 31, 2005, 10:15:54 AM: I have a busted set off my 03 B12s, so I can say it is not that difficult to get it apart. Go in through the back and pull the dials out that way.

On the subject, does anybody know the availability of G2 1200 parts in the US? I have hit a brick wall with spares here in Australia and cringe at the cost of OEM parts.
