Post subject: What are your favorite features about the Bandit?

Very attractive, yet not a cookie cutter racing bike (monocolor paint schemes are much cooler than the multicolor paint schemes of crotchrockets), cheap insurance rating, easy maintenience, good fuel mileage, not a lot of high tech parts, aftermarket parts avaliable, very reliable technology that's proven itself, since the late 80's Katana track days, can hold it's own with other bikes, comfortable ergonomics, price of the bike, and size (it can fit through the door when I bring it in the house, out of the weather, without bulging out fairing to scrape aganist the door pane)...

These are just a handful of things I like about the Bandit :hotdog: :hotdog: :hotdog: :hotdog:

I guess I'm one of the few that LIKE the looks of the bike.  It reminds me of the badass 750's of the 70's and early 80's. I just could never appreciate the "plastic over the engine" look of true sportbikes. I've just always liked UJMs.

Ditto, and the way it makes me feel when I carve up a canyon road with it.

I must agree as well. This list pretty much covers it all. A very affordable toy as the world of toys goes.

Value, reliability, lots of after market add on's. Cool looks, not fully faired, upright riding style. Thank God I did not buy a Honda Nighthawk :pukey: as I almost did.

The "tie down" hooks, knobs whatever you want to call them near the back seat are my wifes favourite part of the Bandit.

You see the smaller one fits right in the hole left when the gear change knob falls of the gear lever of a 2000 Ducati Monster 750. The only thing I need to do is apply some loctite and job done.

For me it was the price! $8999.00 + tax, out the door (Canadian $).

All of the above mentioned from other posts was an added bonus. Yeh, it's not a "Pure" sport bike, but at least I can walk upright after a full day in the saddle!
