Personally, I'm with your wife on this one. With the Busa being more blue & silver - and the gold fork legs being pretty much burried in the fairing, the gold levers don't work for me. Silver or CF would look better, IMHO.

Generally, unless they're total crap, most aftermarket levers are as good or better than OEM bits. And the only cheesy ones I've seen are universal style stuff like you'd put on an old trail bike.

Ok  :crybaby: Yawl are rite, Me Mom did name me Reggie! And i kinda like gold fillings too! It sucks the other stuff didn't come with the deal! Hi Daytona.Think Red has the right idea,blue or silver will do it.
 Think every one has convinced me to go with a busa.
Like the page Red 01 posted,makes sense.
 It will be around a month before i am able to do it and will post pics when i get it. :beers: got a wedding to pay for.......says now no one can boss him around!! arrh!
If it wont go,use a bigger hammer!

Hey i agree the Busa is a deal but all over the roads now! The zx will get more folk looking! A new one should be gotten for less than they say now! I got mine a few months ago. $9 + change, + my 98 B12 with corbin (in xclnt shape 42k miles) for a 06 Busa, tx, title, tag, & 3yr extended zuki warranty. So i think one can be had for about 10 out the door now! Or go used there are quite a few used that hasn't been over 150 mph out there! Heck most are owened by us old guys, that barely make it out of the garage!!!!!  :beers:

Bandit 1200, hands down, considering your stated rquirements. The Bandit 1200 is the only bike in its class whan it comes to cheap insurance rates. Nothing else is even close.

I spent many years on a Bandit 400. Then a ZX-6R run until a high speed wheelie and a rock in the road took it out.  I ride an 06 Busa now and I love it.  I was waiting patiently in the 14 then after the ugly front and strakes on the side I chose the Busa.  If you are one that likes to have a little storage then ask the salesmen to show you under the seat of the 14.  My buddy has one and he can't even put his garage door opener in there with the manual and tools.  I can put a pair of shorts, tank top, pair of extra underwear and socks. A small bottle of water, check book, sunglasses and my cell phone.  I have an Oxford humpback tank bag so that isn't a problem anymore now.  Go with the Busa.  The frame problem was with the earlier bikes. 02 I believe.  They are tried and true now.  The bugs have been worked out.  Break it in and go to synthetic oil and it helps on the buzziness.  It does have a false neutral between 5th and 6th that get helps with synthetic also.  You will not be dissapointed.  Also if the bars are a little too low then hit up deadheadcycles.com and order some risers for $30.
