Changed it up one last time.  Ditched the GSXR cans for two Holeshots with DB killers.  The look and sound is perfect now.

Suddenly, without warning or comment, the bike shows up with a solo cowl instead of a rear seat.

Where did that come from?  I sure would like one.  Planning to make one from scratch in the near future, but finding an original would be nice.

At the very least I'd like to see a few pictures of the solo cowl from various angles to include how it attaches to the bike.

That solo cowl is my pride and joy.  Bought it several years back & been saving it to put the finishing touch on the bike.  It attaches in the exact fashion as the stock seat.  I'll take more pics of it later on.

It certainly makes a statement about the bike's purpose.  Looks so good.

I would appreciate some good pictures of it so I can attempt to accurately reproduce the contours.

(My fuel injection project Bandit 400 has the battery relocated to the tail along with the fuse box, the Microsquirt fuel injection ECU, several power relays and a couple of other items.  So I've got to build a solo cowl to cover all of this.)

Hi THI

Yes that was suddenly!, the solo cowl (Hump) does finish things off and certainly makes a statement.

I had to make one up as I couldn't find one in the UK.

Looks great!

I'm in the process of building a one-off "hump" myself. I've free-formed a plug out of florists foam and applied a good layer of bondo to give a nice finished surface. I'm almost ready to glass up a mold from the plug to build the final one from. I'll post up some pics when it's more done.

I have always wanted a bellypan for my Bandit but all that I see seems to be too short & protrude forward too much for my liking.  Since I did dual exhaust conversion, I have more room underneath from the removal of the center stand.  With an extra bellypan from a Street Triple laying around, I decided to line it up and pleasantly found out that it should work.  So after a few trip to Lowes for some custom made brackets, I had it installed and very happy with the result.  I also installed a headlight cowl off a bandit 650.  Now I am in search of the perfect hugger...

Rear hugger from the rf 900 and oil cooled bandit 1200 should work.

Just got a new friend for my Bandit.  A '99 Hornet 250.  May be the only plated one here in the USA.

Honda actually put the 250cc motor into a Hornet 600 chassis.  Side by side, it will be almost indistinguishable...
