I've finally gotten all the fairing pieces, fuel tank, front fender, rear wheel hugger and undertail plastic prepped and ready to paint (Suzuki Sonic Metallic Silver).
(the rear hugger will be two colors: Silver on the "fender" portion and Black on the "chain guard" portion).
Tomorrow morning I'll be spraying the primer, then I'll sand the primer in the afternoon and on Monday morning I plan to spray the Sonic Metallic Silver and the 2-part (catalyst activated) clear coat.
Here's the question: What is your vote for the color (black or silver) for the footrest plates? I'm open to opinions.
They were in horrible condition so I've stripped them back to the bare metal and I'll be priming them tomorrow along with the other parts. I've got to decide which color to paint them by Monday morning.
