Bandit Build Update

When the site was moved;looks like my build pics and info got lost. You can still find some of it, but not many pics were kept.

So, here is an update. The bike currently has a '94 RF 900 swing arm with shorter suspension links from a '95 gsxr 750 to raise the rear height and wheel.
I have obtained a '90 gsxr 1100 swing arm and a '95 gsxr 1100 swing arm that I will try to get fitted over the winter. The 1100 swing arm is 2" longer than the rf 900's. This will give me a little more stability.

Here is what has been done with a full tear down to the  frame.
Powder coated frame
powder coat wheels
all seals, hoses, and bearings replaced
'95 gsxr 750 front end, race tech 90 kg springs and emulators
Fox shock with shorter suspension links from '95 gsxr 750
bracket welded for Scotts dampner
factory pro stage III jet kit
k&n filters
factory pro long boy air screws
'95 gsxr 750 rear sets
'95 gsxr 750 passenger rear sets
10mm step out Talon front sprocket
520 chain
custom rear mud guard
quick turn fuel fill cap
barnett carbon clutch and springs

Moving comes with bigger garage! I can remember the days of working on my bike outside no matter the weather, to renting space from friends and my brother, to getting a shed, then adding a 1 car garage, and now something to grow in!......already think I need a storage container for spare bikes!

Parts bike getn moved:

1995 GSXR 750 with Bandit 400 front end, SRAD rear wheel.....had to move the bike somehow!

Necessity is the mother of invention as they say, i've moved some bikes about with all manner of weird and wonderful front and rear ends

Makn some progress in setting it up. The bike are still in storage.

Viton Carb kit took a couple of weeks...but looks good!

Pulled it out of storage....needs a little work, but it started.

Bike had fallen over in the move....

What's this oily hole do?

That hole is one of four that drain water (or whatever) from the spark plug wells in the cylinder head.

Here's a picture that shows them (in a little bit cleaner condition).

Thx! Bike fell to the right, but saw some fluid on the floor and the holes were oily. I now think it was gas...but not sure. Brake fluid is good, no leaks from forks, coolant is blue ice and seems good with no leaks. So, I'm a little baffled.
