You are about right but I can't tell you 100% the correct connection at the bandit low tension.
Its definitely cop 1 to cop 4 and cop 2 to cop 3 in series but can not remember which side goes to the 12v and which to the trigger.

I've a picture of the wiring as fitted to the zxr4, I will post it when I get to a computer as my phone app will not allow me to copy the url.

Yeah that's what I have.... I was doping further reading and the GSXR coils are super low ohms... so I think that is what making me second guess the wiring... Thanks a million for your help Chris.

located a set of CBR 600 RR locally for 25 bucks. hopefully I can meet up with him tonight or tomorrow

With the cbr coils I got it running.  But gas is NOT being pulled into the. Motor so thats why it wouldnt start before.  There is still that issue but at least i know the motor is runs.
