Supper bike races?
Roll call - pun intended?

What's the winner's prize?
Prime rib with all the trimmings, or a peanut butter & jelly sammich?

Land_shark and I will be there.  I'll have the RV there with tools incase you and your bandito breaks down.  Funny thing is, I'll be there the monday before the double header for a NESBA day!!!  A whole lot of RA in one week!  Love it!

Funny story, last year I road my bandit up there from over here in Iowa.  I almost hit a deer on the way up, by the time I got into our camping at RA, I noticed my rear tire was showing cords and with a 400 mile return trip ahead of me,I had to get it replaced.......

With so many bikes up there, its hard to believe that there is no close motorcycle shop (talked with a dealer that was an hour away, that was the closest I could find).  So, I bought some new rollers off, no other than, Reg Pridmore himself, and had them put on at the Dunlop factory tent.  I wish I would have got a picture of my tires in queue with all the racer'ss tires, because my grimmy bandit rims were on the same rack as some fancy rims that had "M.Mladin" on a tag.  And to be honest, my rims weren't grimmy, the chief Dunlop guy said his mechanics won't work on them unless, I clean them up.  So I spent 20 minutes inside the Dunlop trailer area, cleaning up my rims.... it was great!

After talking with a AMA friend who was racing that day, I told them about my little tire changing experience.  And they said, that was YOU!  I guess, the Dunlop guys were talking about me, because they thought some "Dumbass" was doing burn outs and blew out his back tire.  But honestly, it was a deer!

jwalters, story sounds to cool.  As you know there are a lot of yahoo's up there and why would we expect a guy who works for a living especially a tire tech to get his hands dirty.

I hear ya!  It was a fun experience, although it wasn't fun at the time.  I wish I would have got a picture of my bandit in the family camping area without any wheels on it!  Sorry to  hijack the thread, didn't mean to, just get excited when thinking about it!

I'll be at Road America Friday morning in an RV, we will be parked in the overflow camping area by the SnapOn bridge, stop by and say hi.  We might even have some extra beer!  :beers:
