Maybe I'll do a scouting run. Thanks for the info on the LEOs. I don't normally run too quick in new surroundings but its good to know. Hopefully there will be enough squids and hogs to keep them busy!

Well, we WERE supposed to go on a lil' ride to Maine that weekend (originally scheduled for the 9th-11th) but my son can't get that Friday off of work and (most importantly) my daughter's HS graduation is the 2nd, so those plans have been scrapped.
Ephrata on the 4th may be a good alternative.
Is the invatation open to newbies?????

Insanity... It's a 10 mile run down Broad St. in Philly. No idea how I got talked into doing that.

Is anyone planning on going the 4th? Looks like I'm in--barring crappy weather. As I said before, I will probably spend the night saturday, can anyone reccomend a Hotel? I like my hotels like my women, clean, cheap, and not a lot of frills!! Expedia kicked out the Hampton and the Scottish Inn.

I'm a definite maybe. I've already marked the day on the family calendar but I'm having some mechanical probs with the B4. I'm not yet sure the extent.

Dandit - didn't you mention somewhere that there were some local diners? My thought was for everyone to maybe meet at one of them, grab breakfast and then head over to the Legion. We could hang out there for a while and then go ride for a bit... make a day of it. Thoughts?

I'm planning to go. Just had a close older friend die this morning so as long as the funeral isn't Sunday I'm gonna do it. ArcticEd was also planning to go but I don't know for sure until I talk to him. Hope to see some folks there. Is there someplace everybody is going to meet ahead of the Fire Hall?

Sorry to hear about your friend.

The Evergreen Diner looks to be just north of the Legion (which is located at the "Community Park" on the map) looks like a reasonable spot to meet and grab a bite before. The Legion lot is crazy when you get there if the weather is nice. You definitely want to arrive there as a group rather than trying to meet there.

I'm very disappointed to say that I'll likely not make it. I haven't had a chance to get the bike in shape yet. I may cage it up. I'll have to see. I was chatting with ArticEd and I think he may know some nice roads around that you guys could hit afterwards. Dandit probably does, too. I also spoke with TomacGTI/Randy. It doesn't sound like he can make it. I'm surprised not to have heard from 12sDrag/Junior or Gary on this yet. C'mon, guys!
