Hey guys, since some of us probably aren't going to be able to make it to the BOSS Rally, perhaps we can have a regional get together? Not sure what's a good time or place for everyone, but I'm thinking some time in June, perhaps out of Milford PA?

Drop some thoughts, suggestions...

I'm interested. What's in Milford or is that just a central location. Maybe a state park would be a good spot. Usually good facilities and parking.

I'm game, do we have a feel for where our NE folks are? Look for something central. Perhaps the catskills, or the poconos?

I chose Milford because it's in the Poconos and there are a lot of great roads out of it. Port Jervis is also nearby if it works for people. RoadRunner magazine ran a write up about the area and included some great route maps a while back, so I was using that as a suggestion...

Are there any bike races going on at Poconos track?
Might be a good excuse for a gathering.....sneak out and ride during the morning practice sessions.....get back in time for the afternoon races.

Odd... it doesn't look like WERA or AMA has any races at Pocono at all. I know the trackday guys say it's really rough.

I'm interested as well. I'm open most of the summer. I've also got a buddy that just bought a grey '04 B12. I'll see what he thinks.

I tried to organize a B.O.N.E.R. (Bandit Owners North East Ride) a couple of years ago, but I got too busy to make it happen. There was a lot of interest. Even the Ohio folks were into it.

You gotta go up to the Adirondacks. Best riding in the northeast.

I'm definitely still interested. I have no idea if I can do it yet, though. I'm not even thinking of mentioning it to the wife until after I get back from the rally. I'm thinking that the weekends might be crazy with traffic up there during the summer. What would you all think of a Friday? Maybe get motel rooms for a Thursday night, go up after work, hang out, get up in the am and ride all day then head home? Just a thought. IF I can go, the last Friday in June would work for me.

Again, if any or all of the above doesn't work for someone or just seems like a bad idea, do something else b/c I would put my chances of going at about 30% or less. I would love to see it happen whether I'm there or not.
