Title: NY area rides
Post by: Kamzilla on March 09, 2005, 11:12:42 PM
Hey guys, just wanted to see if anyone wanted to get together for rides once spring comes.

I'm in NYC, and I'm thinking maybe we can head to the Hawk's Nest area in PA, or even hit the backroads by Bear Mtn...

Any interest?

Hey Kamil.  Post up when you're heading to NE PA.  There are a couple members from up that way.  It's about a 2.5 hr ride for me to get up there which is doable.

Sounds like a plan.  My folks have a house up there, so I plan on visiting the area at least once a month.  The backroads in the area are amazing.

I'd be in for a couple day trips this summer.  I'd be looking in Northern PA/ or the fingerlakes of NY.

I'm in Auburn, NY, in the fingerlakes.  If you ever make it up here, let me know.  I can show you some pretty nifty places.

I usually go through Auburn once or twice a year on my way to Lake Ontario.  Nice riding country

There isn't much in the way of twisties, just a lot of wide open roads through farmland where there aren't any cops.

Open roads with no cops oooohhh I like to find them from time to time, to shake the webs out
