There is a few of us from Arkansas that are thinking about going to Americade, I think its June 5th-10th. Does that sound right to you?  We are planning on being at the rally for 2 days and then taking a ride and picking up some of the North East states.  Maybe some of us can meet up at the Rally?

It's good to see some takers.  I didn't notice any other Bandits at last years Americade.  We should set up a touring ride or something.  We can either sign up for a planned ride or create our own.  I'm planning to go to Laconia after Americade so I was wondering what that was like.  A coworker of mine told me it's bigger and better.  Wooddog - Those dates are right and Laconia starts on the 10th if your interested in that.

Shredder, Rtes 4 and 31 are nice.  lots of twisties and stretches to open it up a little.  Rte 131 between VT and NH is fun as well.

Thanks for the advice, I've ridden Rte 4 before if thats the same 4 that runs through VT.  I heard that on the last day of Americade when everyone rides over to Laconia the Vermont State Police sets up a checkpoint at their border to stop all the hogs with open pipes probably on that same stretch.  Are they real strict with bikes in NH?

Not from what I have experienced.  Maybe for the hog riders--and I can't say that I am that upset over that either.  Loud is not necessarily a good thing.  Actually, rte 5 through vt/nh is cool as well.  Ride on.

I live 22 miles from Lake George Village.  I don't know what the weather will be like and I don't know what rooms are going for, But I 've got a big garage with a second floor, (UNFINISHED) any one that wants is welcome. Let me know, so I can scrounge up some sleeping apparatus.... As far as rides in this area, Let me know when and I'll hook you guys up. Got a good idea for a ride thru the Adirondacks,  Tupper Lake- Lake Placid.. No highways, all secondary-moderate twisters.....
