Title: Anyone tried TourMaster "Intake" mesh jacket?
Post by: WabashMX5 on June 07, 2006, 12:46:52 PM
Thanks to NewEnough pricing, the TourMaster "Intake" convertible-mesh jacket looks like a very good value for covering anything between coolish and very-warm weather. The denier count of the material also looks promising, as does the armor.

Any first-hand experience?  "Real world abrasion tests," heaven forbid?  Now that I've got a serious bike, I should be looking at more-serious riding gear, too.

Title: Air Intake Jacket

I love the air intake mesh jacket. Take out the liners (1 for rain, 1 for warmth) and they make ideal summer jackets.

Thanks for the input!  How is it with either of the other liners in?

My wife got one and loves it. She thought it was getting a bit too hot when temps hit 96 or so last week but when it is 96 nothing is going to be cool. At speed it vents great she says and has no trouble keeping cool.

I just bought a "Breeze" jacket from NewEnough

On clearance, $61.50

Very comfy even at 95 degrees out.
