I bought the new First Gear mesh tex 2 jacket this past summer and would be surprised if there is a better jacket on the market of this type for the price. Has good armor protection but doesn't feel bulky and cumbersome like the Joe rockets. I also think that in terms of looks that it is top notch. I have read good reviews of bikers taking spills and the jacket held up well. It honestly feels like you don't have a jacket on in hot weather. It has a removable liner that does a pretty good job of stopping the early chilly morning rides as well. I went with the silver version, "it looks really nice with my silver B12 !" If your ever in the Columbus Ohio area, be sure to stop in the Iron Pony.... they are the biggest motorcycle superstore in the midwest!! I live 4 miles away, "that is big trouble" lol
