Not cold enought for the Reima bib overalls yet, but cold enough for some added lower half protection. Anyone using the Cortech overpants? You happy with them?

I have them and really like them. I've ridden down around 30F and other parts of the body were cold long before my legs. I think you could even use them on a snowmobile if you have one. Haven't tested them in the rain for waterproofness.

Thanks....mucho appreciated!

I have a pair of First Gear over Pants and they work great. They have removable Liners, hip and knee pads. They are Waterproof and wind proof. I ride and rode 25 miles to work @ 70+ last winter with temps as low as 33 degrees F. I have had them for a year and they are holding up great.

Thanks for the input, Scott. Looked at the 1st Gear but have already ordered the Cortech....will report back how I like 'em.
Cheers

Well....got about 3 days worth of riding in them in mid- to low 40's...and very happy. Comfortable (after I tore out those stoopid hip pads) and warm and unintrusive. Seriously thinking about cutting out that damned flap in the fly area....wierd. I'd say: 'Buy 'em!'
Cheers

Yeah, my hip pads lasted about an hour.

Im having troubles finding overpants. Where did you buy these from and is it called just Tourmaster Cortec Overpants?
-
Go to Tourmaster.com. They have a dealer locater and all the info on their products.

Got 'em at Sport Tour Ltd....$179.99 with free shipping and had them in three days. I called them vs. online ordering.

BTW: I think it was Mike at Sport Tour who told me I should buy the Med. even though I fell in the Large range....they run a little big he says. I was skeptical but he was right...they fit perfectly.

My cortech's are all I use for summer and winter riding. My legs can breath in the summer and stay warm in the winter. I rode through 3 rainy rides and the fly area seems to pool all the water from the tank and my body. So that is the only area that gets wet. It makes my wife laugh when I get home after a rainy ride
I would purchase these pants again. Wish it had more pockets though! I don't want to use the armor/pad pockets for other objects than they are intended for.
