Eclipse STANDARD Tank Bag  (From old board)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I've used another tank bag for a while, which I hated!

A few years ago, I saw one of these on another bike, ordered one......and finally got around to using it on a long trip.

This is a LARGE tank bag, that is non-expandable.
It has two long side pockets, that will swallow a mid sized can of chain lube or Plexxus, and one small pocket on the back that can be removed.
Like the Fastpack Tailtrunk, this has inner sheet plastic stiffeners, that
maintain the shape, whether empty or not.
It comes with a large foam pad that is tethered to the bottom of the bag, via the tie-down straps.

The tie-down straps attach around the steering head, and under the front of the seat.
The intended mounting is with the small, removable, 'junk' pocket to the rear.....near the tank.
I tried it the other way around, and putting the small pocket at the front of the tank gave me more  handle bar clearance.

I packed this sucker full, and tight!
On the trip, after getting a little tired, it was easy to rest a forearm on the stuffed bag, a lean on the tank. (A welcome change of position)

I did manage to pull one of the straps out, by doing this....
(Got carried away!) but it should be easily repaired.
This isn't the type of bag you really want to ride around town with, but......for capacity......it's tough to beat!
