I just tried the softbottom gel pad and it is awsome! The stock seat on the B1250 was good for about an hour or so before discomfort set in. I was on the bike for 18 days and covered about 8,000km and it saved my butt from the pain. It feels a little funny at first because you can move around a bit but after getting used to it it's great! It adds width and about an inch to the height of the seat but I'm 6'3" so it was an added benifit. :bigok:

Did you find yours in a local shop, or did you buy from their site?

I ordered it from their site.

Any chance of a picture with it on the seat?

Notagix,
Thanks for posting this. Looks like a great idea. I'm ordering one right away. I am thinking of getting the 2.5 inch pad with a nylon cover because I am 6'7" and could use the height as well as the comfort. Which one did you get?
Thanks,
Dave

I got the 1.5" pad with the sheepskin cover I tied it around the seat with a leather lace.

Curious as to the comments from anyone else who has purchased this gel seat pad. I am ready to drop the $$ to get one. I am 6' and 235 lbs. The sheep skin vs the nylon and thickness of the gel are my big questions. Anyone with experience with this product please post a review. My seat is set to the factory low position. I don't like the gap left by the raised seat position. Thanks.

That flexgel stuff is the same material that Spencer (http://greatdaytoride.com/Home_Page.php) uses in his seat rebuilds. I had him put it in my ZZR1200 seat and it made the seat 100% more bearable.
