Lee Parks Deersport PCi insulated gloves.
« on: October 19, 2005, 04:44:10 AM »
Received my Lee Parks DeerSports PCi Insulated gloves/gauntlets for the winter riding.  Put about 4 hrs. on them yesterday...and gotta tell ya..these things ROCK!  They're REALLY lightweight (enough to wonder if they're the insulated model at all!).  They've got this high-tech insulating stuff in them that's so thin (like 'Thinsulate').  Spent an hour in 40-45 deg. weather in the a.m. on the naked and hands never felt it.  I actually had to keep looking to make sure I had gloves on at all...there is absolutely no pinching or bunching due to the seaming/sewing method used by Parks.  The deerskin palms are THIN, could feel every control input.  The heavier elkskin backs are as supple as the palms.  The guantlet portions are TRUE gauntlets...pull them back over the jacket sleeves and strap 'em down.

These gloves are pricey to say the least  :crybaby:  but gotta tell ya - I should've bought these years ago instead of these BULKY TourMaster for $39!  Cost $179 (free shipping) at Fox Creek Leather.  These can only get better with breaking in.
