Title: Motorcycle Shipping
Post by: Dave 02 1200 on September 26, 2007, 04:34:27 PM
I had my bike shipped from PA to FL by JC Motors www.motorcycle shippers.com.

It arrived today.

I am impressed with their service and their fair price.

They used a special skid with soft tie downs to hold the bike securely and the bike was covered during shipping.  And I get to keep the cover!

I will definitely use them again and recommend them highly to my fellow Bandit riders.

Just outta curiosity, how much was it?

It was $573.00 door to door.

And I got to keep the cover.

It would have been more expensive just for fuel and motels to ride it home, even if I had the time to do that.

I was going to ship a bike I just bought from Dale Walker and that is who I was going to use.
But my wife decided she wanted an excurison so we are going to drive down with the PU and haul the bike home instead.
No, this time of year riding it back over the mountains is not an option.
These shippers did seem to have it all togather though.
