Very happy with the 009 rear tire so far - wears well and sticks well for a more touring type tire.... the 005 front has cupped pretty bad and may contribute to some headshake at certain "low" speeds.  I am considering trying the 009 front because the rain grooves do not criss-cross.

I've got nearly 7000 miles on the rear and should be able to get another 1000 or so.  Over 8000 on the front with a lot more left but I may change it out early.

At the price level I think they are a great value.

="IcyChaos"]Any crazy riders out there try these tires??? My Diablo Strada's stick extremely well when leaning ot pegs etc.  Im wondering if these shinko's will go the same. Im assuming for the same performance I may go with the 005's on both.
If so how many miles do you guestimate a set of these will last??

Keep in mind I kill my bike. The rear runs quick from fast takeoffs and hi speed cornering.
4 the $ i think u can try em out! If the 005's are 1/2 the 009's maybe 5k. Thats twice the Strada's for 1/4 the cost!!!   :beers:

I agree, I'll give them a shot soon, still have some tread left on front, but a new strada front is already sitting in my house ( free tire promo deal) I'll be swapping that soon, but the rear I may need to buy a new tire in 2K miles, or well a month from now.
