Title: Prexports suck!
Post by: Banditboy600 on June 20, 2005, 11:56:59 AM
In the begiining of the riding season, I bought a pair of Prexport 586 Gas WP riding boots. I purchased them from Top Gear Accessories.  I have made purchases from Top Gear before including buying my AutoCom sys and accessories, and they are excellent to deal with.  Today I called about the right boot, because after a short period of time, the sole had become severely unglued from the boot.  I was very disappointed in the quality of these Prexports, thinking that if it came unglued this easily with basically no wear, imagine what would happened in a low side crash.  Top Gear wanted to re-glue the sole, which means I would be "bootless" for a couple of weeks.  That was not acceptable.  I did not like the idea of having the boot re-glued, I would have preferred a new pair, and sent the defective ones back.  Since that was not case, I ordered a pair of SIDI, from New Enough, which is probably what I should have done in the first place.
